Foundation Day is our Clubs birthday party, when we hand out our awards and eat cake. The date has changed from November to October.
With display day now not on in October this frees up the October run weekend and the decision has been made to make this our Foundation Day event - the day we celebrate our Club’s birthday with Club awards and cake.
This used to be in November, but no longer. The event will be held at the historic Gulf Station, in Yarra Glen.
This National Trust site will be open for our exclusive use and will include very informative and engaging guided tours of the Gulf Station Homestead while we will be enjoying a catered spit roast meal with dessert for lunch.
More details will follow but this will be a prepaid entry (includes entry and meals) for an iconic setting for our Club birthday celebrations, which is when we recognise 30 and 40 year members and present service awards to deserving members.
